Web Site Madness

Posted by: | Comments (0)

In the past month and a half I have managed to start two new web sites and move to The Average Man using WordPress. This has been in the midst of a terrific clinical schedule at LAC-USC Medical Center.

The class didactic this semester has been much more doable so the time to put up the web sites has been my relaxation time. The new web site at nurseanesthetist.org is really a kick. I am trying to get people to write for the web site but this is not going as well as I had hopped. Maybe as the web site gets going more people will be forthcoming with material to post. I am not interested in putting up stuff from me on that web site. Anyway, have a look to see what is happening in the world of the nurse anesthetist at the site. Eventually there will be many contributors and hopefully a useful place for people seeking information about nurse anesthesia. Read More→

Six Weeks at LAC-USC

Posted by: | Comments (0)

The first half of our clinical rotations are coming after 6 weeks at LAC-USC hospital. Part of me is so exhausted and the other is jumping around so excited to be doing anesthesia at Los Angeles County Medical Center. This place is at the center of the Los Angeles Health Care system for the indigent and trauma cases.

Well, more study time tonight.

Second Wedding Anniversary

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Jennifer and I will have been married now for 2 whole years as of tomorrow. So far so good and it looks like our lives have settled into a nice routine between us. We are very happy. Last week I bought a bouquet of flowers for Valentine’s Day. They still are very beautiful and I made the comment to Jennifer this morning that it was a Two-fer; one for Valentine’s Day and the second for our Anniversary. She laughed and I smiled. You see it works.

WordPress and the Lone Ranger

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I don’t know who is better, Superman, the Lone Ranger or WordPress. Pick your favorite Super Hero. In the last couple of weeks I have migrated three web sites to WordPress 1.5 and have been having a ball setting all of these things up. The glitches that have been in the road have all worked out. Mostly it’s been me not knowing how to navigate through FTP and the protocols of the server thing. Theprocess has been very interesting and the rewards are paying off. The site looks good.

I welcome any comments on the look of the new site. Due to the amount of Spam comment on the web site I have had to insist on only Registered Users making comments. You thought that Spam Email was bad. Put up a web site with Comments and you will see what Grrrrrring is about. In one day I had to delete 50 Spam comments from the Blog. They are coming from one or two sources. These people sit up nights thinking how to bug you. Frankly I don’t get it.

Sorry about the Comment thing but register and you will be able to comment on the Blog. OK, let me know what you think about the color scheme that I have going.

The Average Man

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Welcome to The Average Man Blog make-over in WordPress 1.5 To get to the old Blogger Extremist site click here.

Thank you Matt and all the great people from WordPress. I am so happy to be running with the new version I can hardly stand still.

The Average Man is a attempt to move to the center; a move to the Heart Land of the soul. When you examine your life critically you may find that people are not very different from one another at the core. Travel is good for this reorientation from the egocentric mentality that all of us are encultured with.

This is my web presence and a place to gather information that interests me. Look around and relax. While you are at it, say hello to my friends at NurseAnesthetist.org

Happy Trails
