Web Site Madness
ByIn the past month and a half I have managed to start two new web sites and move to The Average Man using WordPress. This has been in the midst of a terrific clinical schedule at LAC-USC Medical Center.
The class didactic this semester has been much more doable so the time to put up the web sites has been my relaxation time. The new web site at nurseanesthetist.org is really a kick. I am trying to get people to write for the web site but this is not going as well as I had hopped. Maybe as the web site gets going more people will be forthcoming with material to post. I am not interested in putting up stuff from me on that web site. Anyway, have a look to see what is happening in the world of the nurse anesthetist at the site. Eventually there will be many contributors and hopefully a useful place for people seeking information about nurse anesthesia.
The Metal Tiger site is really a great project. Actually, the MetalTiger.org site was not designed as a working Blog but really as a place to test out WordPress. What happened there was that the software was so easy to get going that I started using the site to make posts? The Metal Tiger site will probably stay up and be used for something different than what I have here. Who knows, it may become too time demanding to keep going with different content that what I have here and at the NurseAnesthetist.org web site so we will have to see. Anyway, I really like the URL of the MetalTiger and will keep that for sure.
So what is average about this week? The grass is growing again after all of the rain that we received here in Los Angeles. For a while there I thought it would all die off being under water for so long. Can grass die from too much water? Maybe its not all the water that is the problem but the lousy clay dirt that we have. I would love to say that we have “soil” but clay dirt is really more accurate. Is there anything that can be done about this dirt now that everything is planted? Probably not without pulling everything up and starting over.
After school is finished and I figure out where we will live then we will move and at that time I will do the major work on a garden. I want an “Average” garden with real rich loamy soil. Now that is a dream worth thinking about.
